Our   PCA StampEdge and Fine StampEdge were designed to cleverly remove the excess paper from your border as it leaves a PERFECT serrated stamp like effect!  It rivals a time consuming and frustrating task of creating the edge the conventional way in less time and with NEATER results that you will be proud of! The  4 needles are carefully chosen and set to achieve this result. The edge is not a torn off, ragged look, but that of the conventional 1-2 needle tool, neat and even.

How to use the StampEdge tools correctly:

Gently wax the needles with a paraffin based wax before use

Resting the hand on the paper, use just the movements of your fingertips holding the tool...SLIDE the needles into the outer line of the border you wish to treat.

Place the first needle into the last or 2nd to last perforation in the group of 4 holes made by     the StampEdge to keep an evenly spaced line as you go.

After all perforations are made, or as you go if you wish, lightly press the tool in a downward movement on the side of the paper that you wish to be removed, close to the holes. This will easily break any remaining bonds  and release your beautiful "stamp edge" border.

Also available in FINE gauge called the PCA FINE STAMPEDGE, with finer needles and close spacing to create a smaller scalloped stamp edge for those that prefer it. Usethesame method to create neat, fine edging.

TIP 1: The 2nd last needle hole is the neatest, most stable guide for the insert point of the new leading needle perforation.

TIP 2: Tool held too low- the serrations will be longer and not as distinct.  Perpendicular to the page and it may not result in the single action serrations therefore it's important to hold it at the right angle for best results!   50-60 degrees is recommended.

Got a small area to be cut out or a tight corner in which the PCA StampEdge with it's 4 needles is too long?

The ANSWER!

2 needle MiniStampEdge tools are here! They fit in the smallest of places and do the same job in the matching sizing beautifully to their bigger counterparts, the StampEdge.
