PCA LargeBall Embossing Tool
The LargeBall embosser is the more forgiving of the ball tipped embossers, it
allows more pressure to be used to emboss those larger areas with little risk of
perforating paper. It is probably the most often used general purpose
embosser.
| TIP: The LargeBall embosser should be used gently at first, using a multitude
of strokes, in the one direction to complete the area desired, warming the paper up by gentle
pressure. This builds up the desired amount of embossing gradually to lessen
chances of paper buckling. |
| LargeBall still uses the hard rubber embossing mat, but generally one aims
for a light grey shading when attempting a larger area, again to minimise
paper buckling. |
| Try this tool for embossing larger areas that don't require the special
attention of the PCA Shader
tool, which creates gradient embossing,
the LargeBall is designed for uniform one level embossing, although it can
be varied by hand pressure of course. |
| Not all areas of embossing call for a bright white result, if a gentle
grey is desired, this is your tool of choice. |
